WHERE IS AMERICA

A dark cloud slowly drifts across the world 
Flames gradually growing into a blaze 
America's democracy is at its final faze 
Bipartisan is on center stage 

A people divided is clear to see 
One nation under God, yeah right!
It's time to revise the constitution 
Of the land of the free 

Leaders blinded by party affiliation 
Causing a great divide within the nation 
Through the eyes of the right 
Impeachment is the way you go
While a united voice shouts from the left 
Hell no!

Where is America 
In the midst of this political war
Who is tending the sheep that are exposed 
To hunger, thirst, and a lack of housing 
The common needs forgotten 
At this fatuous ball

America cries
Her founders are turning in the grave
A nation corrupted by greed and power 
While her children's needs
Are caught up in this political blaze.
