Where we come from

In this day and age we live in world where people have forgotten about God
We focus so much on ourselves that we have forgotten our roots
Many should remember that God was the foundation for the development of this nation
Let me remind you of his greatness
He spoke life into a meaningless void then
in only 7 days he made the world and all that you see in creation
From the dust he made Adam and extracted a rib from him to make Eve
How can we forget where we come from?
He raised up man to be the father of many nations whose seed can not even be fully numbered
How can we forget where we come from?
He delivered an entire nation from slavery with signs and wonders
And yet we all still seem to ponder ..
Where do we come from??
We all come from royalty a king of the highest caliber
Whose kingdom is everything we see and more
How can we forget where we come from?
He put on a cloak of flesh just to give us a glimpse of what he might look like
He taught us to love, to forgive, to always have faith and to walk in truth
He offered up his son Jesus as a living sacrifice
Who willingly took on all the beatings, every lash of the whip He died on the cross for all our sins
All of it done for us just so life would not end
How can we forget where we come from?
We all come from God the father whom resides in a place where the streets are paved in gold and rivers flowing with milk and honey
A place where love and peace conquers all
A place where tears, and sadness and pain don't even exist
So let me remind you of where we come from we come from God who sits up in heaven waiting for us all to one day return
