The winds are blowing, the rivers flowing

The tides are changing, the clouds rearranging
Whether you are here or not
Kids are playing and lovers laying
Whether you are here or not
The world keeps turning, the fires burning
Whether you are here or not
The bells are ringing, the birds are singing
Whether you are here or not
Couples still smile while they walk down the aisle

Hello Dario; I really loved reading this... You got a really great hook here throughout your write, and by the time I got to the last four lines, it was very strong, it had me smiling actually. My favorite lines are the last four lines
