WHISPERS

To know a silence that never ends is cruel....to be taken out of life by the ignorance of others is a crime...
Sometimes, through my medical madness, I never thought I would live to see the day, I would feel peace and stop looking over my shoulder...
God was always with me, despite my conflicting poems.....and in your darkness God shines a light...a hand to hold..while the chaos is calmed....and I claim life once again..
She falls to her knees from pain and exhaustion
Going blind from confusion feeling lost and alone
Each day she waits for the whisper she’s longing to hear
Where is the whisper that welcomes her home?
Angry from pain; no direction to turn
Her hand reaches out grasping dead air
She will hide with her whispers, to be safe forever
From being hurt once again or needing medical repair
She tries hard to speak, but words die on her lips
She tries to sound warm but sounds cold
Whispers won’t leave there is no peace of mind
Whatever she finds she can’t seem to hold
Always keeping a distance yet longing for closeness
Hoping for trust complete in her mind
Whispers get louder as she sits in the darkness
She seeks something she’s never been able to find
Solitude and isolation becomes her constant companion
She finds safety enough to explore
The whispers grow quiet; need becomes less  Â
She finds comfort behind her closed door……

Honorable Brenda Keough,
This is a poem which echoes, shouts by itself, my applause, my love, my five stars, I wish to favorite this, and seek your permission to appreciate via my POET'S PEN,
I like the below lines
Make our life a abode of heart, where can live in, with a door that is open to receive friends and a garden full of memories of many good things. Inside the heart of each and every one of us there is a desire to be understood by someone who really cares. When a person is understood, he or she can put up with almost anything in the world.
