Whispers in the Night

Feeling your presence which surrounds my heart, 
I remember your sweet touch you gave to me, 
with open arms like your open heart I embraced your love, 
with the sweet tunes of your caring voice I still hear, 
your laugh which still rings in my mind, 
a ghost of love that haunts me always, 
I look up in the night sky and dream of a day I can see you, 
feeling the wind rushing by and carrying my tears to you, 
empty with no purpose without your presence, 
a mother who was more than a mother, 
a woman who was held in high regards, 
for I will look in the sky and wonder if it's you I hear, 
your whispers in the night to me.
