White roses

White roses

One fine day,  white roses

Looking into the sun

Waiting for light

One fine day

There you walked past

Her ghost in time passed you

Looking at white roses

Remembering the past

As if it waved goodbye

That fateful day

You asked why

Why, why why, white roses

As you inevitably sunk into the earth

Dying surrounded in white

As the raindrops drip onto the white forlorn petals

Tomorrow is the sun

Today is the dream

Yesterday is the past

White roses
