Who Am I

Who Am I

I see a man
But do not know his face
I do not know this man
But he will not go away
He looks like me
Could this all be just a dream
Or am I just another reflection
In the mirror
As his voice draws me nearer
The way that he speaks
This man does indeed
So witty and wise
But does not say goodbye
Who is this man
And what draws him here
He brings with him all things
I once held dear
He knows my name
His is this same
If I am asleep
(Oh God I know I am)
I will wake up and he will go away
And He will not come
Back another day
I see a man
But I do not know his face
Him and I are not the same
We hold no interests
And nothing in common
Yet I still hear his voice
I hear him coming.
I do not know this man
He will not go away
He is witty he is wise
But still will he not say goodbye
