WHO CAN MAKE WAR AGAINST THE BEAST?
They are no one-
They are many-
And their name is Legion
Who is like unto the Beast?
And who can make war with them?
Can we agree on the power of faith?
That we all believe in either good or evil?
What lay behind in the ruins and ashes?
What lies ahead? Can we not rebuild?
If truth can be used as a weapon-
I come bearing a sword
Is it a crime for children to hope?
If a multitude dream of an Apocalypse coming-
Won't they assist in their own destruction?
Follow the better angels of our nature-
Or the worst demons will be crowned as kings
And if the Goddess is no longer our Queen-
How can mothers say that love conquers all?
It means nothing for us to pray in temples-
If we don't understand what we believe
If they hide in the shadows- unseen-
If they write the future- won't we live it?
Is their faith stronger than ours?
Don't you know that knowledge is power?
We have seen the enemy- and it is us-
If we cannot resist what attracts us to them
They are afraid of the Light- let it shine
They are no one-
They are many-

A ink pen full of venom have you..........For known is he and many doe's he claim, Lust of all lusters and liars of all liars is he...Will ask you for a quarter and give back a dime, making you believe, you got back what you gave.....He will rob you blind and leave with your soul as a token of his for his choosing. A sinister beast is he.. A multitude of many, brewed to satisfy the one. shadow dweller at day, thus ruler of our apocalyptic nights,(as pronounced by the Book of Revelations)..He who lies Apathetic to the destruction, be he doomed to and prepare for strive all of his waken undyeing days to he but to those of us that take heed realizes his undying days will be not of this world but of another, forever in the dark and forever we he burn that of sulfur,fire and brimstone, for to us he is no more...... James sounds as though you will yield that sword and hey i too will be right beside you.......Potent Poem...A very true realization....and warnings to take heed too....An attention grabber....

My brother- do you urge me on by purpose? I just told an associate (I reserve the word friend- I hope you are one- it's yours if you want it) that I've been alone at this for a long time. I've only been writing (this new project, anyway) for about 2 years. Before this, it was years of intense study- no exaggeration- I was nearly a monk. I could use a partner. Your encouragement makes me believe that it hasn't been in vain. I'm reading the work of others on here more. Shirley and Shah, Morris, of course you. I'm in good company.
