Poem -

WHO ELSE?

WHO ELSE?

You carried me for a time,

That I lived without a name,

You denied committing a crime,

Because you knew I was home.

Everything that you ate,

Was always what I got,

But some days with no date,

Delicious food I made you spit.

You agreed I can see earth,

When I cried I made your faith,

On your hands I became worth,

And you were there to lead my path.

Slowly I learned how to sit,

With four limbs I reached your seat,

After months I stood on my feet,

Now I talk and dare to cheat.

You always stayed at my side,

Whenever am tired you became my ride,

To you I stood as a precious pride,

That you got after being a bride.

You are a person with power,

And my heart’s special flower,

You are my smile’s only shower,

I think of you every hour.

You did an incredible thing,

Of protecting me as golden ring,

And rose me as the world’s king,

I esteem you than everything.

Nobody can do what you did,

Before I spoke you knew what I need,

From the moment I was just a kid,

Until now on myself I feed.

Who else can?

Make for me a van,

That will help me run,

And always have fun.

I have nothing to pay you,

Rather than obey you,

I promise to respect you,

As long as I love you!
