Poem -

Who has the power?

Who has the power,

is it God or is it me.

I put my hands over my mouth,

as I dare not to speak.

Let my mind do the talking,

as my sub conscious practices free speech.

Detachment from reality,

in a world I cant feel but only imagine,

my other self sensing conflict with my taught belief's.

Yet I talk to you every night,

and sometimesĀ IĀ ask you questions,

for example asking you for your forgiveness,

or when I am in doubt or in need.

I adhere to your commands,

or is it me following my moral belief's.

Intertwined with kindness,

like a finely kitted blanket,

pulled over my eyes committing voluntarily blindness.

So who has the power,

is it God or is it me?
