When a parent departs the stage,
It can evoke emotions of rage!
Once exhausted all your tears,
Slammed the door on all fears.

You come to realize who you are,
      A child of God from realms afar.
Using that power to achieve,
A host of those in you believe!

Reaching higher than ever before,
Special courage helps you soar!
Your own child now arrives!
Then behold; the worth of lives!

Now these days I often ponder,
Wishful thoughts of living longer.
Linger on the stage of life.
Helping my child with every strife.

Try sparing him from every tear,
And how to slam the door on fear!
To reconcile this lofty quiz,
      Simply remind him who he is!
