Why did I choose the streets

Love or hate

Why did I choose the streets I know that the streets hate me.

why did I choose the streets because I know the people in the streets want me dead.

why did I choose the streets because your hand shake don’t match your smile.

why did I choose the streets because there’s no mistaking jealousy and envy for love.

why didn’t I choose love because this emotion you call love didn’t choose me.

because love, loved me today and hated me tomorrow.

because love gave me hope then love put a bullet in my heart a knife through my heart piercing my back.

but that isn’t love I believe it was I seen the same characteristics in the ones who gave me life. A mother who abandoned me and a father who chose an addiction over me.

Love keeps you lonely only to want more.

hatred is not always a bad choice when it’s used to fuel your fire. This fire leads you to a road of success.
