Why do airplanes crash

Why do airplanes crash
With our loved ones,
Our brothers and sisters and children
Where do their hearts go
When they're heading towards
Toward the cruel earth
At the speed of death,
For our souls are once again shattered
And our grief doesn't fit so neat
Into the little black box

Why do airplanes crash
Where are the pieces
What are the reasons
Who knows the answers
Whom do we know
When will we know
Wherein do we seek
Whereby might all be revealed
Whereabouts are our children now
Wherefore art thou O Lord.
