Why Do I Love You

Why Do I Love You

Why do I love you?
You ask me everyday,
Truly you should know by now,
What more words are left to say.

So why do I love you,
You really want to know,
Breathless you make me,
Like the cool winter air,
All from a smile,
You take my breath away.

Just one look,
In those deep brown eyes,
Weightless I feel,
Like I'm in outer space.

Trembling weakness,
At my knees,
One single touch,
I can't feel the ground.

Whispering softly,
In my ear,
Butterflies flutter,
All thru me.

Don't get me started,
With one single kiss,
The Earth quits spinning,
I can't hear a sound,
The ocean is calm,
Not even a cloud.

So, why do I love you?
You ask me everyday,
If only there was,
Enough words to describe.
