Why me Lord? Why me?

You cleared the way so that Im able to see.

You've emptied my ears of its build up,

Now you're ready to fill my cup.

You occupied my void with my heart's desires,

I want to grow with you higher and higher.

Whatever I ask of you is true,

Even when things turn black and blue.

I know it will never be perfect with me.

Near you Lord is all I ask to be.

Fill my cup until it pours over,

Surely Lord your ways are sober.

The test and trails make me more humble,

It's much more difficult to make me stumble.

I've learned to be accepting to every blessing,

All my faults and my transgressions.

Forgive them Lord,they know not what they do.

You're the only way I'll make it through.

Why me Lord?...Why not Me?

If it is your will,Lord, hear my plea.
