WHY ME-WHY NOW

I find myself feeling overly anxious
These last few days
My thoughts are of dying
And leaving this human race
I have read the Bible
And heard a sermon or two
I gave my life to the Savior
But fear still pierces me through
Where is your faith, trust and believe
The tongue of the so called righteous
Lashes out at me
What about brotherly kindness
Compassion and love
Interceding on one's behalf
For His blessings from above
It's so easy to judge another
When you are not walking in their shoes
Condemnation before conversation
And execution according to your rules
But in a God I've never seen
I must blindly trust
Believe in His word
And patiently wait for that heavenly touch.

Hello Wilford, I sense some soul searching in this write. I also believe you brought forward a very common issue. We humans judge far too quickly, before we even know the innards of a person and their battles in life. I enjoyed your reflection on kindness and human compassion. If only we had more of it
