Why Not Take A Stab At Something

Why Not Take A Stab At Something

Confidence is paramount - I know your weak spot,
needs to be measured because your place you forgot;
I wrote about the sea and there was nothing I hid,
parents said: 'You didn't write that,' I said: 'Yes, I did.'

We went fencing (swords), fortunately no one was harmed,
like you, I might have known that I was easily disarmed;
you could even be a postmaster with hands in the till,
battling to shed your innocence and be thought guilty still.

Perhaps poker was more suitable - your face implacable,
although cheating and underhand movements regrettable;
you were driven on by unknown powers just indigenous,
like horses racing down the street made you incredulous.

They say that travel broadens the mind, always one kind,
however, it may be best to get off your arse, not left behind.Β Β

Hello Terry...

A message for all the good people?

The bad people are doing just fine...

Someone may have to stab back unfortunately or die not trying...

Their killer will be free to do it again?

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hello Terry...

Sweet Caroline is a great song...

Morningside touches my heart...

He had a Traveling Show Buggy with David Bowie...

Google and Youtube helps the World come together too...

His Songs are for this Country, his honey, and his family...

His Faith...

Did he seek fame?

Did it just reach out and grab him?

Maybe, his God given Universal Gift?

xoxo :)Β
