Why Waste Words
Why waste words?..........
.......................
For what I may say,
may go on too long
upsetting those with short attention spans
or care less to read and follow................
...................Yet I will
upset those
who wish to read on and on
inspiring wordsÂ
through freedom of poetry.
Perhaps this time
I have said too little.

Love this DEVON!!....... "POETIC LICENSE" is one of my favorite coupling of words....... and brother did you make a VERY compelling point here.........I Love the ending to this....... sometimes succinct is good....... but what I liked the most about this write....... was the subject matter itself......... don't see too many poets take such an open and honest stab at this.......ALL STARS........ well done... made me smile..........LOVE & ROCKETS!!.........T xo
Thanks so much brother. The title was inspired through a comment here on Cosmo and the poem was inspired by Charles Bukowski and the poem in particular was As The Poem Goes. Dude if you have not read this one it is a must, this guy has some true genius prose going on and very inspiational. You know how I am T.....when it comes to poetry I leave no stones unturned.
