Why We Belong

To Our Future Machine Overlords:

Why We Belong

Although weĀ
May not be efficient,
Nor kind at times.

But the ways in which we love;
And care for one another.
Are worth saving.
In its entirety!

Not stuffed away
In a museum. OrĀ
Left traces of,
In the hint of our voice.Ā

Neither enslaved.
Nor oppressed.
Left to be free.
And assimilate.

Cause truth be told.Ā
You would certain miss us.Ā
Cause our combined potential,
Outweighs our parasitic ways.Ā

Give us that chance.
To show our truest nature.
And why we belong.

What a write! Absolutely LOVED this!

Cause our combined potential,
Outweighs our parasitic ways.

I have often thought us the parasite of the planet. Giving nothing back, just stripping itĀ bare.Ā
A thought proving message for the reader. šŸ“Œ pinnedĀ

Being Me

I agree with Gwen!Ā  And I also love this!Ā  There is one little thing... I am going to say it because I like this poem so much...BUT...I think the poem needs a little grammatical overhaul. Please don't take offence I really like this poem but feel it needs work on the grammer to make it shine even brighter x
