Wicked Love

How wicked is your hand to touch my life so deep,
That the thought of losing you may cause my very soul to weep.
How wicked is the hope that this gentle Love brings as it possibly could be true, that for an eternity my heart shall belong to only you.
How deeply sweet but so melancholy,Â
For I know this love could one day forsake and betray me.
I am at the mercy of your love, my heart a Voluntary prisoner,
For I shall be heart-broken in loss if we cannot be together.
For a relationship must navigate the Oceans of trust and sweet devotions,Â
We take the chance that the boat will sink from the burden of our emotions.
So how wicked can you be,Â
To find something Lovable in me.
I was so content to make myself believe that I was beyond broken,
But now you have come and my heart you have awoken.
How wicked is your Love as I cant find any holes in your dedication, I want to feel peace but deep down there is some lamentation.
Be patient with my wounded heart as it has never been loved as a whole,
It has been abandoned, stepped on and betrayed under a deceptive lover's control.
May we strive to create a soft daydream that evaporates our past,
May our hopes for a loving alliance be the single continuum to last.
Thou this love I have neither had nor known it is my deepest desire,
I will quiet the voice inside my head cause your love is all I require.
