New Perspective

The challenge now is to keep the best parts of my heart and soul,

My journey has led me out of the darkness to my inner light that is whole.

My inner voice called to guide the way, 

It was like I knew in darkness I would stay.

I was blessed with a mentor he is my prayer answered in three,

They are the person I admire most you see.

They embody all that is true kindness,

This man is an attentive physician who heals soul sickness.

For with them empathy is abound,

I can sit for hours and make no sound.

He can speak to the deepest part of my collective communal heart,

He has been the match to spark my healing journey,

his very words sooth my soul to vanquish my worry.

For I believe he is destined to teach healing and Love to humanity,

He is here to tell us we don't have to live a life of chosen tragedy. 

We cannot give up hope, we must believe in our ability, to heal the perception of our personal reality. This hopeless romantic who hides his love of life is just what we need, 

He is the world's antidote and comes as a spiritual seed.

If Love ever comes seeking a place in my heart, this man has now changed me he played a big part, He has given me the greatest gift you see, He taught me what a healthy love should be.

So thank you mothers who raise their sons to be loving with a heart that is whole,

For they restore our trust and faith for a better world we might know.
