Poem -

Wild grass.

The ground holds much resilience, wild grass turns the heads with sigh
the offerings of little rain
Makes summer days here dry

Often the smallest patch of greener pastures
Hold flowers
And in the light may capture heart's fondly there for hours

Ive walked the pathways of dust and dreary
The rainforests sweet and fresh

There truly is no comparison, to how the daylight dressed

Except for night, beneath moonlight oh how the star's impress

To cure the wounded
And heal the heart's of those who'd find duress.

This was actually inspired by a poem I listened too by nan Shepherd

yes some parts of Australia are in desperate need of rainfall,
others not so much due to flooding

We Could do with some rain at home, fill up the waterholes , the grass is a little dry.

Life is being very kind to me, no face punching, but thanks ❤️
