Will I Ever Awaken?

Last night I dreamt an ugly dreamĀ 
a dream about a war and me
I saw so many leave the streetĀ 
as I was left and so was heĀ 
he was the child I born'ed with lifeĀ 
and yes I too was someone's wife
I saw them all go off to warĀ 
and now I sit behind locked door.
