Will You Come

Will You Come
Â
I left the front door open so you can come inside
Until that moment comes it’s my time I bide
Â
Won’t you please show me your spiritual love?
So that the aches of the past I can now rise above
Â
Love and acceptance are two things that I long for
Won’t you come and enter my unlocked door
Â
Show me all of the love you have for all mankind
And won’t you cut these ties that always bind
Â
Won’t you wash away all of my sad tears
And Put to bed all of my unfounded fears
Â
Will you appear on the white wings of a dove?
Share with me all of your everlasting love
Â
Or will you come to me on a warm summer’s breeze
Promising to put all of my sadness and tensions at ease
Â
Will you come to me while I sleep in the night?
And in my dreams you will come into my sight
Â
I feel like I’ve been waiting for half a lifetime
Won’t you come and fill this longing heart of mine
Â
Won’t you come and watch over me night and day
And show me love in your truly blessed way
Â
Our world has become such a volatile place
Please let me witness the glory that is your face
