WILLIE WATKINS

WILLIE WATKINS

He picked up a cigarette butt from the pavement floor
If you are like me you wonder why he did that for
Well the reason is Willie Watkins has no fixed abode
He lays up residence on the side of the road

Willie has no clothes and food is in short supply
If you are like me you stop and wonder why
How does Willie survive and make ends meet
It sure can't be easy living on a busy street

Willie you see had a rather interesting past
If you are like me you wonder why they didn't last
So for Willie it's onto the street once more
Times will be tough for him for this I'm sure
