The Wind and the Leaf (You and Me)

I fell for you
Like a leaf on a tree
We both knew it was coming
But still waited to see
If it would flutter down slowly
And without a sound
Or if the wind would catch it
And it'd crash to the ground
You and I know
That both answer's true
It spoke only silence
As it fell down for you.
But along came the wind
And tore it apart
The leaf stayed in tact
But out ripped it's heart.
