WINDOWS OF MY MIND

The cares of this world has no hold on me
I have found the key to my freedom 
I've been given liberty 

I've escaped the political arena 
And at times the confines of this world 
I can make my bed with rubies if I choose 
And surround myself with pearls 

I am not constrained by time or space 
For to me, time is but a thought 
And space is just another place
Which at my leisure my mind embrace 

I've travel through time
By looking through the windows of my mind 
Though in this house of clay I may be seen
Through the windows of my mind 
I am as an angelic being 

I know no sorrows 
I feel no pains 
My heart has never been broken 
And I'm not in want of riches or fame

I have seen the unseen 
And ascended to the heights
Even though gravity holds my feet 
To earths fire at times
I find myself light years away from it all
Through the windows of my mind.
