winter air

Winter took you away but we stand face to face now

We have nothing to say but regret fills the air

God has given us a second chance to start over 

Will we do the same mistake or will we listen to our hearts and speak truth

We stand here in the middle of the forest like we did days ago before you changed for the winter

Into a form not so human more like wolf

That day we said some nasty things

That we didn't mean

Couldn't take it back but now 

God has given us a second chance

To take back the hurt and fill it with love 

we were silent for a bit 

The air cold as it bites my skin

We said nothing 

We did nothing but you made the first move 

The kiss was soft and warm it brings me back to summer 

Where we first meet and shared our first kiss and just like that you were gone 

For summer will change you back into human and back into my life

Just like that God had always planned
