Winter Bane

Like 3 Pin it 1The skies turned to ash of grey,
The day stopped on winter bane,
Wolves are howling farewell,
As the birds are hiding from this freezing hell. She came down on icy mire,
Run away from the dark ink vile,
A shade is longing for her heart,
As she sang the tale of her winter mare. She kept running deep into the rain,
Longing for warm with no gain,
Cold wings blazing her spine,
As she felt the winter through her eye.The night owls raging fire,
Chasing her upon the shire,
Faith no more as she could take,
As the snow fell upon the lake.

Hey Goldie!!....... I've been reading some of your stuff.......... don't always comment............ but after I finished this one the second time.......... it came to me what you were doing......... the way you're playing with words........... the words like pawns on a chess board creating the imagery of your intent.......... look just beyond the words and listen just beyond the metering and you find a VERY interesting writer....... reminds me a bit of Robert Browning......... and his ideas on using words............I also like the way you seem to have a bent toward the mystical..........I write a blog on Metaphysics so I am an admirer............VERY cool write my friend.......... Keep 'em coming.......... I'll try to comment more.......... stay cool!!............ peace..........T xo
Thank you indeed for the lovely comment Tony, indeed i love playing with words, I always did. I haven't read Browning for very long time like few years back used to like The Ring and the Book or Love Among the Ruins, two of my favs so far. Thank you for stopping by Tony really appreciate it :) now all i have to do is to visit your profile and taste your imagery as well :)
