Winter is Coming

Winter is Coming
by poet: Ron
Beyond this moment, winter approaches.
Dawn is leaving us.
These cold days singing trees dance, listening to wind blow a flute!
Leaves begin to fall and sleep,
Birds wave bye,
Clouds cover the sky.
Everything seems just cold as can be.
I grab a cup of tea.
People are disgusted with the cold.
I wish they would stop with the kicking and screaming!
What I really want.
Is, to go to sleep.

Ron! Love this write! Great imagery as you describe the cold days of winter. I am one of the screaming people. I had to leave Chicago for Houston just to get away, so I don't scream anymore.
Well done!

Valerie! Thank you for the comments. Living here in Pa. We have cold winters every year. Today it was dark past 7am. Now the days will begin to get longer since it's past the 21 of December.
