Winter to Spring

Its that time of year that everyone loves
When we go from dark to light
When the trees that were bare
Begin to show the leaves of green, so bright

The cold air turns into bursts of heat
The sun beginning to show
The children requesting the play park
Instead of wanting the snow

Filled with birds and bees
Flowers and cut grass
The sound of the ice cream van
Coming back around at last

These are the days that we all adore
Because they make us so happy inside
It helps us reminisce the younger side of life
