Nicely done Christopher, self doubt is the shadow across us all i some way, shape or form, you have a talent creeping out of the darkness, well done, much love nardine xx
Barry Gale, when I first read your comment it hit me and I considered what you said about writing from the heart, honestly I often times distance myself from what I write and stand off somewhere in a safe place refusing to believe that my words are really a part of who I am and how I really see anything, mostly I considered them disposal and in the moment observation, but you may have given me a new way to look at poetry, and I'm not sure how to thank you, but I'm certainly grateful...cheersÂ
Flower, thanks for saying that...yeah been writing a little here and there...been so darn busy lately, I have a obsessive personality so when I get focused on one thing it's in my head all the time...I still enjoy reading poetry though...thanks again, Flower Â
Cherie, I'm always so amazed at the measure of your kindness...yeah thanks for saying that the poem doesn't suck...went to a book store today and randomly opened a book of poetry, started to read a few and realized that poetry can't be judged whether it's good or bad or ugly; it's like looking at someone's hand and saying; I don't like your hand...in other words some poetry will connect with others on some level and some will not, but like Barry Gale said, if you write from the heart...thanks again, Cherie for the encouragement...have good evening
