Wires

My nimbus love, a velvet star, a lightenin’ volt, a soul ajar.
I die the love, aflame the death, a zenic flight, an omic
Breath. And fount to pulse, the ghosts of love, afflux the
Heart, a cryptic flood. But pagan pain, aloft the soul, an
Ethic fraught, a passion froze. My nimbus love, a world of
Flame, an epic art, a tender pang. For skeptic flare, a
Curse to walk, the bract of life, the strife of thought. But
Sated love, the blood of Christ, a phantom tear, the fear of light.

My nimbus love, a velvet star, a lightenin’ volt, a soul ajar.
I live the tear, aflare the breath, my anguish dear, akin to death.
For sin to touch, a spirit cut, a mystic love, a flooded gut.
My nimbus love, a sky aflight, a torrent wave, a panting
Night. But mind to pain, a wealth of faith, the greed of lust,
The flush of fate.
