Wish a Wish

Wishes.
Not one, Not two but three.
One is to get more wishes.
But that’s not how it works
Next.
Maybe to be rich.
Morally valuable? No.
Materialistically? Yes.
But it doesn’t feel right.
My second is for fame.
The world shall love me,
For I am worth bunches and heaps.
That’s what my mama tells me.
But it still doesn’t feel right.
I’ve blown two desires, one left.
Think think think.
I’ve wasted twice.
I won’t do it again.
My third, if nothing else, is to have you by my side.
You standing by me forever and always.
Our love enough to satisfy me for eternity.
Now that is better than right.
It’s perfection.
