Happy New Year precious Angels, we wish that you were here;
To hold and kiss throughout this day, for we love you very dear!
It’s our first without at least one of you, in almost two decades;
So we’re feeling very lonely, on our hearts, it’s heavy weighed!

Our two little boys both gone now, but your Spirits still us surround;
Oft times, we think we hear you, making little doggie sounds!
We know you watch us over, Guardian Angels sending love;
From the Heavens where you live now, so very high above!

We made a resolution to try and heal, that we posted yesterday;
But it’s so hard to fight this withdrawal, on this, the tough first day!
So we’ve had a little relapse, for last night we shed some tears;
When we reached out to gently hold you, but you no longer were us near!

Our Babies now have left our World, we rocked them till they slept;
They floated up to Heaven’s Gate, as our hearts and Souls both wept!
Their kiss goodnight would never end, as upward did they soar;
To their “Cradles Of Eternity”, where they will rest for Evermore!
