To Abide

To  Abide  -  “A heartʻs Delight”

            Her eyes, longing to abide, in her heartʻs delight.
Seeking within, would he, dance with me and to be with an unseen.
With tears in yearning, or would he, just walk by to uphold his pride.
Wrestling with thoughts,
I wish, I was a crown queen, so you may have your dream, or
Should I, just be myself, to forget all and cast it in a wishing well.
            Her eyes, longing to abide, in his arms and as his bride.
