Wisteria

Poetessdarkly challenge

Wisteria

Perfumed mauve climbing lush,
Twining stem, leaves of green,
Scenic midst nature's hush,
Lilac bells, bewitched serene.

Aphids, scales feast in bloom,
Sprawl sporadic till nature allows,
Rustling birds sing in boom,
Water kissed the fuchsia boughs.

Viridian shadow environ all,
Toward the eye soft appease,
Scattered hue amidst the fall,
Strength bestowed amongst the trees.

My Dear Friend Simon,

The descriptive power of this poem, is again synonymous with a branch of my avocation, an antique and art dealer.Β  It has made me think about the rarest of all Tiffany lamps, the incomparably beautiful "Hanging Wisteria".

All my love,
Larry xxxΒ
