Without Silence

How can darkness and silenceĀ 
BeĀ so welcoming?
When all I want is to see the light
To hear again
My voice has faded,
It makes no sound.
How can that be?Ā 
How can something so beautifulĀ 
fade away?Ā 
How can I makeĀ it come back?Ā 
All I want is to be near the light
To feel the warmth
I don't want to be cold anymore.Ā
