I wake up every morning longing for your touch

In my mind forever are the moments of our love 

By mid day I'm sick and astray 

​So deeply I convey, the need for a change

Lonely has become my new enemy 

​A distraught best friend

Once it was all I ever wanted 

Yet, now by it I am haunted 

What a twixt, such a twist 

I'm perplexed in a mix of feelings prematurely dismissed 

Like a raven mocking the death of your presents    

Darkness keeps calling

I am stuck in this place, never moving

Yet always falling

Empty and numb
