Poem -

That woman I call . . .

She was bright and beautiful
had a deadly stare
she would pinch your nose
if you didn't take care

That woman had a mouth
and that she did not hide
but her love and devotion
never stepped aside

I will remember all that she did
I will not forget the life she has given me
she will carry on

That strange but miraculous woman
with the stories that go on
her parenting methods
all her crazy days
or maybe that one wild goose chase

She was mad
even bonkers
but no one never knew her
that radiant and daring woman

That woman I call mum.
