Women Are Strong

Under the make-up and glamour,
She bares scars and pain,
Barricaded into her soul,
Leaving her heart inflamed,
The lies told by her father,
Now her significant other,
Lie deeper than the depths of what you can see,
Reality shows and magazines reveal false beauty,
They protect the hidden colors,
So in her realistic life she feels she can never amount,
To the title of beautiful,

Men have unrealistic expectations of their dream woman,
Expecting to her to resemble the model in their favorite magazine,
So the everyday lady will never be adequate enough for men,
Models always reign supreme,
Every month pains invade their body,
Men just blow it off as nature,
Women have our kids,
Now he no longer admires her body,

She tries to show she is credible enough to be his wife,
That she can love him for the rest of her life,
When it should really be the man asking her to wear his ring,
Because in the bible it states,
He whom finds a wife, 
Finds a good thing..
