Poem -

Words

I live for what won't die.
My word and my child.
What's alive when I'm gone lives forever.
True memories can't be filed.
What we remember is a fact.
Not yet proven incorrect.
False thoughts drive us.
Assumptions derived from lack.
Lack of searching.
More of wandering.
Hoping to stumble on something with remembering.
When I'm gone don't think of what was said.
But of what was written.
Ink can't be twisted
For my child.
Love will be plotted.
Write my love down.
Never to be erased.
These will be facts.
For him to stay strong through out the race.
