WORDS LEAKING FROM THE BOOK
Across the echo of nights sleepless jab
watching dawn unfold,undress,in footstep light
a stranger day calls my other name
traffic cools the hot nights fever
daily place introduces the new time
till dark the chariot pulls
black the bloom in love
falling into the pyre of stained sand
corrupted in the vat of beginning
Yet night draws the picture ever nearer
once again days robe of fear
will take the other shape
love dances on a star so far in distance
so love wears my skin
to cross such a border line,
Night not the feared shroud
across lovers satin tongue
below the trace of fingers weeping breeze
soft pillow breath
sightless in loves greater shadow
a shaken fruit
caught in unspoken fall
the book falls open
 Alice jumps between those flashing thighsÂ
Raising the Titanic flagged
deep within a doubted taunt
ravage the pulse will rise
mountain descends moves along the treason river
jealous the bridgeÂ
