Worn Out Shoes

Worn Out Shoes

She was a daydreamer
one who actually lived out her fantasies
her charm bowled everyone over
a mind of pure genius
anything could spark a poem
if she’d just let her imagination steer
she could have written a thousand books
maybe she did?
but her greatest love
was to dance every night
until the break of dawn with  Mr Bojangles.

Dear Bernie,

Absolutely right there is a bit of me inside here, I absolutely love music. I wrote this as a dedication to Sinead O'Connor, but you are spot on that there is a bit of all of us including me inside here. Thank you so much. I believe if we can get through our daily strife and still dance we do well. 🌹
