Worries

We all carry them ,
some hide them better .
Worries , concerns .
Self doubts that burn .
Confidence eroding in turn .
Fraying the nerves ,
depriving us of sleep .
As we try to keep.
- Some sort of perspective .

And yet, in the end, all of that needless worrying hasn't done a thing to make the problem disappear.
I believe in what the Serenity Prayer states:

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.
