Worthless

He was always on his own
In his family's home
He never mattered to them,
Never given attention

His sister never said his name
Unless there was someone to blame
The second oldest was perfect
So he was treated worthless

He was never worth anything
To them
So he has trouble
Letting people in

What if they cause pain?
What if they realize,
He's not the same...
Will they leave him too
Just like families do
Or will they hate him
From the start
Even if he uses his heart

They only came to him
If they were angry
But since they faked it outside
No one believes me
No one sees what I see

I'm worthless to them
I could never win
Or let them in, again
Because I'm him

Fathers and mothers don't
Love their son
That why I said forget it,
I'm done,
I could never be loved like them
So he promised himself,
He won't let them in.
