Poem -

Woven Light

I’m disenchanted, my love; but so enchanted, my love. Love

Has bled water—such glorious honor. And thus, the coop—

Is unlocked; and thus, the kiln—is raging. Our future, a

Storm of fire: our hearts, a flurry of sorrow. But such joy;

And such Wisdom—a pool of miracles. Thus the passion,

A cedar prayer; and thus the ache, a phantom’s friend. My

Soaring vision, a baptism; and light, a Buddhist nun. [Selah]

I’m disenchanted, my love; but so enchanted, my love. Love

Has bled water—such infamous treasure. And thus, the

Pain—is unleashed; and thus, the joy—is musing. Our

Status, a seraphim: our wings, a flurry of bliss. But such hurt;

And such glory—a shrine of warriors. Thus the mystic, an

Oaken soul; and thus the tear, a relic love. My soaring vision,

A baptism; and light, a Buddhist nun.
