Poem -

Wretched love

My trembling hands are masked by darkness

If only you could see the pain you caused

The happiness you brought with you has evaporated into anger and sorrow

Everything I've ever known is fading

My world is spiraling into grey

I'm trying to grasp onto consciousness

Something to ease the pain

My hand finds a picture of us

we look happy as can be

A million emotions build inside me

Escaping through these tears that fall

I just need you to know I love you, and that is all.
