WRITERS

Some people can't write, can't even spell,
oddly that also includes grammar as well;
no matter, of course we wish them the all best,
but sometimes you think they should give it a rest.

It's a bit like tv - we don't have to watch but we do,
imagery can be non- existent - no shades of blue,
frustration may add nonsense turning out to be fake,
the only deviation may be a picture of a chocolate cake.

Don't indent for paragraphs, you're not writing a book,
punctuation where necessary, don't forget to look;
there's always the 'gallery' which may open some doors,
but don't rely on smarmy lines and gratuitous applause.

It's not just I but it would seem that others agree with me,
you just can't help it if you're lacking in some mystery.
