Writers Block

~~Writer’s Block
I’ve got absolutely nothing to say,
It’s been that way all day
Don’t want to work, don’t want to play,
I’m just going to sit here, and watch my hair turn grey.
Can’t write a poem, can’t write a song,
I’ve been like this way too long.
Listen to that stupid clock, tic toc, tic toc,
Tic toc, tic toc, Will it never stop!?
I think I shall rip it from the wall,
And throw it from a mountain tall,
Then maybe I would have something to write,
About killing the loud clock out of spite.
This writer’s block is no joke,
I start some verse, and then I choke,
My brain has fallen into a pit,
So in front of my laptop, all night, I sit.
I’m sure recovery is on its way,
I just need to think of something to say.
Something funny, something sad,
Something about the crazy life I had,
This writer’s block is really bad,
It’s starting to make me really mad.
I’ve got to think of a rhyme in time,
Maybe if I pretend I’ve got a deadline.
Has this ever happened to you?
You reader of poems, you’re a poet too.
